Looks great Blue. Having sliced brisket or chopped beef sammiches? Thats some fine eats piled in a baked potatoe with sour cream, cheese, and diced green onion.

I just slice it up and they tear into it. The other half likes to make some brisket sliders with a little horseradish mayo and a slice of pepper jack cheese.

I love 'em.
I buy 5 or 6 briskets every year around Memorial Day when Krogers puts them on sale.

This was my last one.

Enjoy......

Do you have a preference in the wired units?

I've been craving brisket for a couple of weeks now and this may have pushed me to do one real soon.

I do burnt ends sometimes. I just didn't feel like messing with them yesterday.

Man love that smoke ring! I tried my hand at my first smoked brisket a few months ago. Not sure what I did wrong, but it was touch. Flavor was spot on, but don't know if it cooked too long, not long enough, cut too thick, or didn't cut the right way. Will be trying again soon though.

What do you season yours with?

I'm using the Maverick ET-732, I have nothing to compare it to but it's awesome.
