Yeah, we do the same thing....the only reason we did it this early is cause the only ducks in our marsh right now are scaup and they only show up around noon of everyday. The spot we are shooting is where we do almost all of our crawfish and crab boils. The good thing is on the other side of the road that we shooting on is a canal that leads straight to the intercoastal and there is three colverts that flow under the road into the pond and it keeps craps there when the weather warms. So we just catch all our crabs right there and put them straight in the boiler......not a bad deal at all. I spend most of my time out there during the warm months.....we have trails to ride 4-wheelers that lead to the intercoastal where we swim and camp on the ridges.
