Has anyone removed restrictor plate themselves. I looked at mine and dont want to damage screen. If you have done this . What is the best gentle way to do this. thx

I did it on the one I had. Don't remember how exactly. Just remember being careful. It's no big deal if you don't put it back in. I don't think lake area marine even tries to save the screen.
