Keywest18 07-05-2012 09:15 AM

what kind of boat is it on? speed?

Top Dawg 07-05-2012 09:37 AM

16/48 weldbuilt with a 14p yamaha prop it'll run right at 40

swamp_stalker 07-05-2012 01:14 PM

Backwoods landing has the tiller for $4550 w/prop, but you have to drive to Alabama to get it. The 50hp tiller is $200 more. That is the cheapest I have seen them.

Or you can buy a 40hp and remove restriction plate and have a 50to

Top Dawg 07-05-2012 01:26 PM

If you buy it from lake area they pull the restrictor unless you tell them otherwise.

I did it on the one I had. Don't remember how exactly. Just remember being careful. It's no big deal if you don't put it back in. I don't think lake area marine even tries to save the screen.
