I had a serious swollen foot, fever, chills, etc. Went to the ER and got some type of shot. I guess it was an anti-venom but I was still sick for 3 days or so and my foot and leg felt like it was on fire....
 That was about 25 years ago on the Guadalupe (sp?) in Comfort, Texas.
