Never seen one of those in La, heard they had them along with Terantulas(sp) up in those piney woods though.

Ragin, this is the 2nd one I found here, they have wood spiders that make u think their tarantulas!!! These suckers needa be shot with 00!!!

Had one of them in my pants one time in Kisatchie. Good think I shook em first fore I put em on in my tent.

I worked at a body shop in OKC once that had them damn things EVERYWHERE!!!! Nothing like going in to mix paint for a car and grabbing a pint can and cha-ching!, scorpion! You learn real quick to pay attention to where you are putting your hands and never to put them where you can't see. I also learned that scorpions don't like thinner or tints poured on them at all!:*****:

What happens if you get stung by one?

I had a serious swollen foot, fever, chills, etc. Went to the ER and got some type of shot. I guess it was an anti-venom but I was still sick for 3 days or so and my foot and leg felt like it was on fire....:cry:

That was about 25 years ago on the Guadalupe (sp?) in Comfort, Texas.
