Default LA out-of-state license fees (especially for Texans)

I am venturing out into dangerous territory with this as my first post, but here goes nothing. I have enjoyed hunting in TX for years, especially deer and turkey, which are in more abundance and I don't mind (much) paying the now, $300.00 for that priviledge, after all, it is a priviledge and you do get what you pay for. I know the we have some sort of reciprocal license fee law, but i think the state has missed the boat on reciprocating. If BL is the world class fishing destination we know it is, I hope somebody with a lot more stroke and contact is ahead of my thoughts here...
