Planted broccoli seed early July, they are growing slowly, but the heat is hard on them

Looks like the plants get a lot of shade, which is good. If you keep watering them, they should be ok.


I have had problems when planting them in Sept. only producing very little in the fall. But if I can keep them from freezing, the plants will start producing in Jan or Feb.

very early for em coozan I usually plant it in mid to late sept. When I pull up my okra. Thye always do well in the fall and winter till a freeze if we get one.
