![]() Also, I was also wondering if anyone would know where to find the dimensions of the boat on the trailer, I googled the crap out of that and have come up empty handed. And of course, if anyone knows what dealer offers the best prices, I'd be happy to know even if I have to drive a few hours. So far Jerry's had one of the better prices. Thanks to all PS: I have a 2007, bought in 2008 NS 1910 w/ 115 Optimax for sale. Asking 20k, 8' power pole w/ remote, lowrance GPS/FF with all my waypoints, new hubs, tires, bearings, 1 year old lower unit, 80lb minnkota TM, perko switch, recirculating livewell and more. I plan on posting pics as soon as we get back from vacation. |

They now make the sho 250 in a 25" shaft so they may add that option to the 225 soon.

I'd really like my next motor to be a 4 stroke, because of the noise and not as much as a mess with the oil, and you don't have to make sure you have oil onboard every trip. |

The offshore model 4.2 is the same motor as the SHO,just a different color and cowling. I would go with the yamaha over the opti. Just my preference, like you said don't have to keep buying expensive DFI oil to run it. You will love how quiet they are too. Got one over where I work on the floor, will get you the length on the trailer.

Length from the coupler to the swim ladder is just under 28'......width is 9 foot with a mcclain aluminum trailer.

I'm nearly positive we are going with Yamaha mainly for noise level and less messing around with oil. Why is the SHO more expensive than the other 4 stroke? |

Can't answer why they are more expensive...prolly just because the demand is high and they look cool. The height is just under 8 foot.

I purchased a 2013 2110SE from them and I am glad I did. They have stood behind the sale and I cant say enough good things about them. I priced Jerry's as well and their pricing was basically the exact same. Where they really stood out was in the details, advising on extra options that would be cheap at time of purchase and expensive as a later add on. If you are gonna drop that kind of cheddar on a boat they will make sure you are set up the exact way you want it, bow to stern. Go by and check out the boat, It sounds like they have one in the showroom! |

Jerry is a ****** with ears. I'd pay more not to buy from him. I talked to him today regarding bringing my Merc in for him to make sure the throttle linkage was adjusted right. I wasn't asking for a favor, I was going to pay to have him look at it. He didn't want to look at it saying he's sold and rigged a lot of those motors and hasn't had any issues. I explained to him that it came from another dealer out of town. He then asked what kind of boat I bought. When I told him he chuckled and said there was nothing he could do for me. He's just a walking ******. It's ashamed because he knows his stuff when it comes to Mercs and getting the most out of a boat and motor.

I bought a nautic star a few years ago and shopped around. I ended up buying from Aqua Marine in Baton Rouge. They beat Redmonds by almost 2,000

I priced Aquamarine and they were 2k above Jerrys and Redmonds but is was a phone call only. I went to Jerrys and Redmonds and priced the boat.
I also didn't want to drive an hour east or west to get service on the boat either. JP make sure to factor in this when making your dealer selection. |
