Anyone ever fish the bayou at the end of Nelson road and if so any luck with bass in there?

Good deal thanks for the info I am trying to find some bass close to my house before the pool opens in March. Do you mainly fish the cuts or do you beat the banks?

We used to tear them up on the cuts. Haven't fished out there in a few years now, but used to be really good fishing. I've heard its made quite the comeback since Rita messed it up.

Ive heard good things about that place, Jlejeune I am a marsh fishermen too, but I fish the rivers this time of year
