wifes shallots , unbelievable

Well my wife comes home from weekend in georgia and gives me this lil plant in a pint container looks like chives. I figure its too hot so i leave it out on front porch and water everyday to plant when it cools off if it survive. Well she asks when i'm gunna plant it like it aint appreciated and i told her its too hot and its gunna die. Well you know how that goes so I stuck it in a container and moved it in the sun to die.......DOO DOO on me..........less than 3 weeks....

They look great Buba and at that rate by September you will be able to pull them up chop the greens for the freezer and replant individual bulbs and make a great winter bunch. Like you I figure its too hot, so my onion bulbs are currently hanging in a small onion sack in the cabinet.
