Default Where can you buy shrimp other than spicers

Thinking of puting in at the ferry and fishing south Saturday or what time can you buy them at spicers and would they live till I got to the ferry boat ramp

You can buy at Calcasieu Point (although that doesn't help if you're going South), and I've heard that Hebert's on the east side may have begun selling.

I've bought at Spicers and taken them down to Cameron before. Just get two or three extra buckets of water when you put them in your live well. If you have bubblers I would think no worries at all.

Put about 50 live baits in 5 gallon bucket with 1 Mr. Bubbles per bucket. No problem.

I got an old ice chest I use for live shrimp. I use a bubbler and drop in a frozen 2 liter bottle. I've kept em alive all day on the beach that way.

spicers has been out ever time i have gone there. and those days were during the week at 6 am. it dosent take a rocket scientist to look at the guide board in the shrimp shed and wonder why they are out.
