Cheers Good as it Gets 5-5-14

Steven Marcello was back onboard today with his long time friend Bobby Sevin. We had the big yellow mouths jumping into the Bluewave as soon as the Power Pole hit the mud. Bobby was reeling in a beauty on his first cast and I had one coming in my second cast. The yellow mouths were filling up the K2 one after another. Green Hornet Matrix Shad tight lined slowly was what the big trout wanted!!! No live bait needed down in Dularge!! The bite was steady and we caught fish in spurts hitting schools as we slowly drifted. With 40 nice specks on ice before 8am and the bite slowing
down we decided to make a move. Our next couple stops only found a few fish, then we struck silver again. Slow and steady with a few nice double\'s coming in the boat!! With the K2 full of trout, we made a couple more stops trying to finish off the limit. Not wanting to get in casting distance of the other couple boats around, my guys said they had enough and didn\'t need the last few trout!!! We decided to soak a few shrimp before heading into the lodge. One quick stop on a point added another quick ten fish (reds and puppy drum. Good as it gets today and the guys had a blast!! Full table back at the lodge. Thanks guys for another incredible day.
