Default cheap steel shot

Before Ike I shot a few cases of the 1 3/8 oz 3" and they hit hard. I also shot estate 3 1/2" and they were awesome. If I could put the right lead on the bird he was 'frying pan dead". But like most steel shot the cases will rust. I always put paint or wax to seal the shot and some like BBBs I would seal the primer. Some years ago they were made in Conroe, Texsas. But like most estate was bought up buy federal. I sold 6 cases of mixed ammo last year to a guy and he called and was bragging how they hit hard and wanted to know if I had any more estates shells.
