I always figure a sack or 35lbs per 5 people when i boil at home. 7lbs a person. But if you expect a lot of women and children you could lower that to 5lbs per person.

Last weekend I boiled 68 pounds of crawfish, 5 lbs potatos, 5 pounds smoked sausage, 24 1/2 ears of corn, pack of hot dogs and a bologna link.
We had 10 adults and 3 children and about 10 pounds left over. One thing I do is fix everyones plate, I put a scoop and a half in the tray and everyone gets there own veggies. I would rolled all that on a table it would have all went. |
