Default All new low!

Just when I thought I have seen it all when it comes to todays youth and the new society of America, I get kicked in the gut. This past Saturday I responded to a horible traffic accident, driver is trapped in car, passenger is in cardiac arrest, and we are in broad daylight in a residential neighborhood. We were able to get the passenger out and begin working on her, performing CPR for about 8-10 mins before getting a pulse back, getting her on a strectcher and transporting her in the fire department ambulance before Acadian got on scene. I return to the scene to find a 9y/o standing in the yard adjacent to the accident site, filming with an iPhone. I asked the little girl how long she was filming, her response - "for a long time, I saw you pumping her chest". I asked her to go back to her house and if her mom knew what she was doing, her response "yeah, she's standing right there".

I look over to the front door to see a lady just watching from her door as her kids are witnessing something I wouldn't want my kids to see. Better yet, she's letting them film it! C'mon Man! This is ridiculous!!!
