Default Amite River bass on popping bugs

I went Tuesday after work and 1st stop caught a few baby scaliat off 11/2 inch shad I poured out of a mold, but they were all really small.
Really wanted to try throwing size 10 and size 8 popping bugs using a clear bubble which made for throwing flies and poppers for weight on a baitcaster using 8lb line to go after bream.

Got to Flat lake and man I got what I wanted. Color didn't matter I stopped counting the little 10" to 14" bass I caught on a popper mixed in with bream. Funny part is one bass didn't want the popper he ate the clear bubble. I had to pull it out of his throat to throw him back. My biggest bass was also caught on a size 10 popper which hung him in tongue pretty good. Funny the bream slammed the bigger poppers and bass liked smaller ones.

I did notice on bream you twitch the popper. Bass you had to throw it to spot and let it sit after the ripples were gone they would slam it. Pretty fun and I was with my father and he caught a few on poppers also.
