Just make it out of 1/4" flatbar with a hole in it.
Honestly, I had an alum one and got rid of it. The alum marks fiberglass wherever it touches. The stainless ones don't mark and set better due to the weight. |

A piece of rebar with either a nut welded to the end or a short piece of rebar making a "T" on the end works good too. Aluminum seems like it would be too light, but I've never tried it

Will see how they work i made two ten footers for less than forty bucks, one six footer from the store costs sixty bucks so if they dont work i didnt loose much money

Have you looked at the ones Academy sells, they are stainless but I don't see why aluminum wouldn't work especially if its an area you can just push them into the mud vs. throwing them

If its for aluminum marsh boat then marking ain't big deal and if its long snuff to push in mud weight ain't a big deal but I also saw that Academy has their H&H stainless ones on sale for less then $50

I've used 1" PVC as a marsh anchor it worked great for a 20' alum boat , I doubt it would hold my new boat though

not sure if this helps but, I used 3/4" galvanized pipe with a Tee on top. works great for 3 years now. Got it all at Home Depot and cost about $10.

Is stainless pipe the same as galvanized pipe for a marsh anchor

No. Stainless is stainless. Galvanized is just mild steel with galvanized coating and will rust.

Only bad thing about copper is it's really soft and will bend easy.
