This time of the year in that area I start fishing deeper water and moving the bait real slow. Try the old river and in the ship channel on the drop offs. It does slow down about this time of year up north.

Padonah I 've fished the last 36 hrs. trying to figure the tide out up here. Just came in after trying to see if tide had started in up here. In the water by 1:00 am this morning got to first spot close to ship channel no wind no tide movement. Put over my Shadow caster light and in no time bait started forming in the light. Casted out and caught a red While reeling in saw to decent speck dart through the light; got red in the box. Ended up with 5 keeper red's and 4speck's.The fog rolled so thick it drowned out the noise from the 210 bridge .I 'm sure the tide is coming in down south, it's not that strong time it get's up here.
