Default Internet options?

I've got AT&T DSL right now. I've got the 1.5 mbs speed and that is the fastest the offer for my part of Moss Bluff. Cameron Communications offers internet where I'm at now and they have much faster speeds. The problem is they won't offer internet by itself. Are there any other options for me beside satellite internet? I'm looking to get speeds where I can download movies in a reasonable amount of time.

We live in Coffey Pines Subdivisionand just had CAmmeron Communication put in but we have all three services through them. My dad lives one subdivision over I think for awhile he had Cammeron for internet and had Directv until his contract was up then he switched over to all Cameron as well. I could try and find out how they let hm have just internet service. It mayhave soemthing to do with the fiber system why they can't do just one service anymore.

It has nothing to do with the fiber. They just don't offer it. When the fiber first came out down in Grand Lake, it was all 3 services or nothing. Lots of people don't want land lines anymore.

cameron is by far a better option if you want all three products but communicomms internet is better than at@t and you have options for speeds that goes up to 8 meg.

If you could find out I would appreciate it.

I don't know if communicom offers service at my house. I'll have to call and ask.

I have camron and its been great, I had communicrap before and I would not go back to them if it was my last choice nor do I think they would take me back due the parting we had. Camron offered just internet but it was not much cheaper then what I pay them for cable and internet, I think internet only was $50-$60 which to me would be still worth it especially not to have to deal deal with them idiots in Westlake or India or who ever you may get ahold of with communicrap if you are even lucky to get ahold of them at all.

So how did you get Cameron to offer you just internet? I've called them twice and had no luck.

told them that was all I wanted, they push yo to take it all and offer a good price but if you tell them what you want that will give you just that but its alittle higher. Atleast that's how it was a yr or so back
