Default Weeks bay

I fished Weeks Bay this afternoon with my three year old son. The water looked good but we were only able to catch trashfish. My son just enjoyed catching fish, didn't matter what they were, so I didn't move around too much looking for trout. When we were heading back to the launch there was a flock of 20 gulls working and I thought we were going to rack up. We were the only boat around but it was only ladyfish and gaftop. Any way the water looked great and it shouldn't be long until it gets good out there.

I have seen birds working in weeks bay the past 3 years with nothing but gaffs and lady fish this time of the year. Once the water starts cooling off a lil it will be on like donkey kong!
