Default Beach 6-14

Made my first trip to the beach this morning . Met up with Paul Meyers and Gerald and headed out to give it a try . Wind and waves made it rough ,but they managed to catch a few trout. Then we headed down to the ship channel and caught a few flounder. It was nice to meet up with some of the guys from here ,and it was a nice trip . Thanks again Paul and Gerald for letting me tag along.

Agreed, but we wanted to fish somewhere.

It was nice meeting also Trey. We'll make some better trips soon.

Gerald, sorry we didn't do any better today, That's fishing! We'll make it again soon.

It was nice to meet both of you. Looking farward to fish with you again soon.

For the record..... our catch for the day was 2 trout [and one throw back and 4 or 5 flounder [ and a couple of throw backs.] I ain't afraid to say it was not a good day...... but it was fun.

Several days ago, it was posted that the Cameron ferry was shutdown. Today the small ferry was running.
