Butte La Rose - 11/6

Decided to see if I could hunt down the sacalait in Bigeaux today. After an hour and a half of absolutely nothing, decided to toss the spinnerbait around a bit.

Ended bringing 7 of these guys to the boat in ~ 2 hours. Biggest was ~ 16". The one in the pic is 15". Kept the one in the pic and a 14" for the grill.

Black and chart spinners in dead end canals was the key ~5-7 feet of water, along the grass.

Not a bad couple of hours on the water. And fishing after the front meant I pretty much had the whole place to myself.
