Grand Chenier report; Sat, 1 mallard hen, Sunday; hunted the grass and killed 1 pintail hen, 2 mottles, 1 grey, and 14 blue wing teal. We are still holding 4-5 thousand ducks but the high water has them bunched up in the grass. It is very difficult to sit and watch hundreds of teal, pintail, mottle, and mallards land a hundred yards from your set. I hope they get comfortable and decide to stay put for 2 weeks.
Johnson's Bayou report; no ducks
Pecan Island report; limits on old lease are becoming harder and harder to come by. Teal are the primary duck and greys following closely.
