Good job. Put a life jacket on that youngster. That's a high dollar ticket. Had mine holding the rope at the dock while I backed down. He wanted to jump in and ride it up the trailer with me. He'd taken his jacket off, I didn't even think about it. We went maybe 30' in the boat from dock to trailer. Green jeans was waiting on me. Been years but I think it cost me $180.

Only have to have life Jacket on when motor under power

Kids under 16 can fish without life jacket while motor is not running or under power as law states
