Jan - March is probably the slowest time of the year for fishing dude to trout transition and winds
So closing those months do zero to help population in Mississippi
As far as people coming to La waters In those months to fish , your not going to see a great increase of pressure.
Fishing is already slow so why drive the extra miles for same result
