Yesterday I decided to make Salisbury steak although I should just say hamburger steak but in keeping with the idea of the dish we'll stick with Salisbury. After seasoning the ground beef I seared the eight "steaks" on both sides. ![]() The onions were browned and cooked down, mushrooms added and gravy made then steaks added back into the pan. ![]() While that simmered to finish cooking I made a quick side salad. Mine. ![]() Served with peas and carrots and mashed potatoes. ![]() This was really quite good and we should have this more oftern ![]() Mmmmmm........ ![]() |
