I don't have one but I have researched them and they seem very legit. I have an ipilot and don't regret it or anything, but supposedly the motorguide and rhodan will hold to a smaller area than the ipilot. The ipilot spot lock is good for anywhere from 5-20'. It seems to work better when there's a strong tide and its lock seems to get better the longer you have it in anchor mode. Still beats the hell out of anchoring
