With a Walmart or Academy battery, the best I got was maybe 30 months.

Average life about 24 months.

This was with keeping a battery charger connected all the time same as I currently do.

So...... why have I gotten almost 2x the life on the NAPA batteries. Only difference is I don't go fishing as often in the past.

I'm running walmarts in my bass boat and they are still going good. I bought them march 2013. I can fish all day with them and I haven't noticed any lack of power at the end of the day and I'm not easy on the throttle
