Back before the hurricanes I use to catch ice chests full there of sacs and goggle eyes. Try the CY canals and Humble too. I would fish the pockets between the grass and the bank. pearl colored tube jigs fished a foot under a tube cork was the ticket back then. I sure miss my 25 hp boat.

That's the problem in that area its all grass out to 5ft from the bank with no pockets. Its horrible this year with no winter

are the canals off superior any good, ive always fished around Gibbstown and never been on that end. would like to try it. looks like a lot of canals back there
