The Roux (Cooking/BBQ/Recipes) What good is a cajun site without a cooking and recipe forum?

That makes for some great memories.... My Grandma Martin was in bad health when I was younger, she passed when I was 11 years old.

She couldn't do much outside but my fondest memories are of me helping her cook in the kitchen.... It was how we bonded. It's been 35 years since she passed but I can still remember her stories and laughter in the kitchen.

Just wished I had pictures of us cooking but I don't. Camera's were not as available as they are now. Take plenty of pics and cherish the times.
