Haynie, JH, Explorer, El Pescador, GulfCoast, and Majek are all bad *** boats. Plenty of quality texas makers out there. Lots of Haynies on BL. The others i mentioned are very similar, just a little less popular in LA. I wouldn't be concerned about where a boat was manufactured, but the company's reputation, hull design, and lay-out would be my priorities.
