I just sold a 32 foot go fast. Had 557 ci motors that made 750 hp each. Right at 100 mph top speed. Very expensive hobby to go fast. A large % of the boats pictured cost >$300K all the way up to $1mm or so.
Lake Charles had a fairly large contingent of go fasts up until 2005 or so but not much since then. Getting too old to wrench on it so I got into fishing. We participated in the Texas shootout, Tickfaw 200 and poker runs in Key West, Destin, Lake of the Ozarks. Lotta Fun.
