For a .22 rimfire I really like the Nikon Prostaff rimfire scopes. For the money I just don't think they can be beat. If you shop you can get them for less than $100.

I also like that the Nikon is a 3X9 40mm scope. The Luepold and most others are 2X7 32mm. I have a Luepold on one of my sons .22's and it's ok just over priced in my opinion. I have the Nikon on my Kimber American which goes to show how much I like them.
