When the first front of the year rolled through I braved it. I beat me and my partner to death but we were on the water for day break. We fished to sundown. We didn't smoke them but I we ended up with 3 reds, 3 doormats, and about 25 trout and a few whites. It was a hard day of fishing in the wind but when you find a pocket of them you can catch. The waters going to be dirty everywhere but cleanest on the lee shore, so fish there and look for bait. Get some Jenny Gig Speck Spinners, with black/chart votex. Thats what we caught all the reds and flounder on. The wind blew like hell all day and laid down in the after noon. Had a strong incoming tide and caught the trout in the pass as the sun was going down. Ran home in the dark. You got to get mad at them to catch in those conditions.
