Finally a Decent Trip

After a little over a year of not catching more than 10 fish in any trip, a finally got "lucky". There were no speckle trout unfortunately but we landed 77 white trout. When the freezer is empty, you keep anything. We probably lost 20 more at the boat. All caught at Caldwell reef on dead shrimp under cork, any dark color artificial, and live croaker. My eleven year old had a blast. The action was non stop from 9:00 - noon. Winds were quite brisk though.

Nothing wrong with that! i bet the ride back was pretty sloppy. glad the kid had a tight line all day, makes it all worth it in the end.
