"Levee shy" is a new term to me. Maybe if your blind sticks out like a sore thumb they don't want to come close, but if your blind looks like the rest of the levee no problem. Seen plenty of ducks late season sitting right next to levees, hell, even walking around on top of em.

Me too. Hard north wind I've seen em use a levee like a wind break. All huddled up near it.

See this also on warmer sunny days after big fronts.
They get up and sun on the bank. See it a lot with geese too.
