Why do they use a shell pad for the Rigs? I would have guessed the fish like the legs of the platform. Shows how much I know about fishing the short rigs. I dont have a VHF on the boat, yet, so I dont head out of fear of something going wrong and no way to communicate.
I have only tried out there once, found some Gaffers and that was it. I generally catch all I need inside the bay but Sat was a different story.
