Bought a 7mm 08 for my son a few years back and like Duck Butter I used it a few times and fell in love with it. ...... I am not a fan of recoil at all so I bought myself a 25 06 also a fine gun but you need a longer barrel to stabilize the bullet ..... If your daughter can handle the recoil of a 243 she can handle a 7mm 08 with much better ballistics
