Never flip a quarter to see who has to pick up on the boat trailer when it's been backed off the end of a launch. Especially at Lake Martin when the water is 45 degrees...

Run the winch strap and/or rope under the last crossmember of the trailer then hook it the bow of your boat. Reverse the boat and the trailer should come up. Let someone else pull the truck up while you are lifting the trailer.

And that my friends is why I dont gamble. You can loose.
45 degree water can cause some crawfishing in certain areas.
