The lsu lakes have fish but finding them can be an issue. As for just catching fish, hit up the backside of the levee and fish for catfish in the river. Be careful wherever you go and make sure you're not on posted property. Also, head west to the Tamar maroguin exit. You can fish the levee near the boat ramp there.
