luckily nothing serious has happened to us yet... I saw a guy try to jump onto a submerged dock, well he didn't pull his boat up to it quite enough, and missed the dock completely LMAO! All you saw was his hat floating on top the water

Riding in a creek channel in my 14x36 Jon with a 20hp longtail. Wasn't the best set up weight wise but it did what I needed it to do.. Got on plane and running wide open, noticed my push pole was hangin out the boat some so bent over to pick it up and my handle started pushing on my side , I was standing (with no grab handle) and when I tried to correct it , it pushed me right out the boat.. Luckily had my kill switch on and motor killed but was still a 20 yard swim back to boat.. In November, water was a tad chilly. And swimming fully clothed is a lot different than u think. Always wear that kill switch..

Lmao, that's hilarious. Never mind the 5/0 in your face!

On a serious note, What kind of jig head is that?

Another one. Brother got a 17' skeeter and we wound up putting a 70lb Minn Kota on it. And that thing made that boat haul butt. Went by myself and put it down and plugged it in not knowing the switch was on constant. Motor and boat went left and I went right. Boat made 4 complete circles and ran into opposite bank. Mid January, really cold swim about 20 yards to the boat in jeans and a heavy jacket. Very cold boat ride back home.

I was about ten when I talked my dad into taking me summer steel-head fishing with him. It was summer time and I did not have waders. We wade fished behind a dam that was draining a snow melt lake and the water was under 40 degrees. Like a tough kid I just waded till my legs were numb then I was good. We did great fishing I still remember the caddis fly bite. At the end of the day I exited the river to see that I had been walkin around on the side of a broken ankle all day. My dad freaked out and drove me straight to the hospital (3hrs away), but as I thawed out I was screaming. My ankle looked like a purple and black cantaloup for weeks and my Dad was really hard on himself, My Mom wasn't so happy neither.

I know it's hard to see with my hairy leg. But the scar runs from my knee cap to mid shin. I fell out the back of a boat at Josephs Harbour my senior year and got over 200 stitches. They sent me to South Cameron memorial and I was eating boudin and drinking a power aide while they were sewing me up!
