Well we want to catch reds too, but after/if we get a limit of them, we want to be able to catch somethig else. I will try that platform out to the east. You can see them on Google Earth, the closest one is about 2.5 miles southeast from the mouth.
How does the water salinity affect the fish. I found the website for the NO District Corps that has the salinity levels. I checked some historical data and have found that I have killed the reds in Grand Lake when the levels were low compared to what they are reading today. I guess with little to no rain there is no freshwater coming in and it is gettin saltier??

Anywhere to buy live shrimp around Grand Lake??
