Default Hunting Rubber Boot help!!

Im gonna buy a good set of rubber boots for deer season, and I've be shopping around some. I'll spend extra if it's worth it. The main goal I have is to get a boot that's perfect year round (not too hot in sept., but keeps me warm in december)

What's yall preference?

IMO rubber boots suck.

Pick up a pair of rocky's or irish setter's... get one that has some removable inserts (so you can add then in for when it gets cold)

if there is a lot of water in the area your using them in use some of the new water repellant stuff that you can get at home depot / lowes.

here's a video, called neverwet... getting some great reviews all over on this stuff.

Muck boots hands down! They are a semi knee boot and I've been having mine for 3yrs still going strong and they are EXACTLY what you are looking for!

I like muck boots. I also have a pair of lacrosse alpha mudlites that are real comfortable. The uppers are a little tougher than the mucks if you will be walking through a bunch of briars and stuff

Yup...

however seems like a lot of people really like the muck boots down here, which i guess i can understand if your doing anything in swampy area's for a long time.

Might want to stick with what works in this area in this case.

..... then again you just dropped a grand on a new bow setup... your rich.. buy a set of mucks and a set of setters... lol....

The couple of pair of Mucks I looked at online claim they are good in temps ranging from sub freezing to 85 degrees .. Y'all agree? If so, I think I'm gonna give em a shot

Look at another brand called BOGS... I like the soles on the BOGS better than Muck boots and feel that the boots are better made. I have the Blaze MT model.
