I learned to fish there, I can leave my house and be fishing in Weeks Bay in 20 minutes tops, he's arrogant with both occasions we had a few words. I'd never disrespect a fellow fisherman even if he is right where I wanted to go... I own nothing in that bay except the boat I fish out of.

Matt, would you be related to Blake Migues that was on Top Shot? By the way, keep your good reports coming. It helps us who are trying to get a handle on this great puzzle called Vermilion Bay. I will admitt that I have not figured it out yet!

I have, trout hate that place and it's a safe haven for baby reds because no salt = no predators, then when they are 15-31/32" long then they move out!

That has been my experience also. It is a shame we have to throw back the reds that are actually good to eat. Shame on you Paul Prudhomme.

True story.... every once in a while a big one gets lost there or on of the 15-31/32" fish gets a sudden growth spurt and falls into our ice chest and not back into the water.

I drop dry ice on my lid if I see the warden or when I'm getting close to the landing - shrinks up my measuring table...
