I dont remember the details, but if you research it you can find that the color actually does make a difference. I think the green (in the water) has something to do with attracting something that attcracts the baitfish, which attracts the pretditor fish. Also, different colors penetrate through water farther than others. Of course, pretty much any light above the water will attract bugs which attract fish. I would think that above the water brighter would be better. When you look it up you will get a lot of different opinions but there actually is a science to it I just dont remember much of it.
