Well I can tell you this... and any one that fishes with me can Testify...I never break off on fish...

I broke off on 3 Trout in about 5 years

Now reds have popped me but there 20lb plus

You using that for a leader or your main line? If a leader, what kind of not you using to your main line? Even with top water?

I use Fluro for leader......(it holds better and less abrasion than Mono)

I use 20lb Fins Windtamer braid for topwater and hard baits

I use 10lb Berkley big game mono for jigging plastics

You don't find that the fluoro leader sinks when fishing top water?
