Monday Trout Slam!

We enjoyed another great trip Monday slamming the yellowmouths. Ron Bartels & Kenny Olivier from Schriever,La along with Clinton Trahan from Sunset,La. joined me on the big fish catching blazer bay. It was a great morning to do the DU as the weather cooperated and the trout were hungry. My crew couldn't have been any better as these guys can fish and our 100 fat trout by 10:00 am proved it! Everything caught on swimbaits with bunker,blueback,blackback,and speckled trout colors putting a hurt on the fish. It was great spending a productive morning with these guys and especially with my old friend Kenny. It was Kenny who introduced me to Bayou Seveur for the first time about 35 years ago. I fell in love with the area and the rest is history! Anyway, these guys were slinging in fish faster than I could unhook them for a while. Thanks guys for a wonderful morning on the DU!.
