I use acrylic enamel auto paint with a clear coat. Trick is to sand 'em to the bone or the paint will "crawl". It's expensive so I mix different colors to get what I want. Sometimes it works...sometimes it doesn't. When I get time, I'll try to get you a Texas Chicken "Donk" painted. My nails are not long enough for nail polish.
