The incident where the LSU professor was on Red River and shot a mother and a cub was an honest mistake and the guy owned up to it, and that was quite a hefty fine. That took a LOT of integrity right there

Don't see how shooting a bear, AND a cub, is a mistake. If you can't tell the difference between a pig and a bear then you have no business in the woods with a gun in your hands. One of the top rules of hunter safety is target identification - looks like the professor needs to go back to school
On another note, turning himself in was the admirable thing to do.
